Spray board or counter with non-stick cooking spray. Combine rolls to form a ball and roll into a 13 x 15-inch rectangle. Melt butter in skillet and sauté onions until soft and translucent. Remove from heat and add green chilis. Spread mixture over dough and sprinkle with cheese. Roll up lengthwise, jelly roll style. Slice dough into 12 equal pieces and place in a sprayed 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let double in size. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
