Ingredients

8 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup brown sugar, divided
1 (29-ounce) can peaches or 4 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, sliced
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place chicken in prepared baking dish, and sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar. Arrange peach slices over chicken, then sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar, cloves, and lemon juice. Bake about 30–40 minutes, basting often with juices.
