Wash beans, trim ends, and remove strings. Arrange in a vegetable steamer, and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 5 minutes. Drain and plunge into cold water; drain again. Melt margarine in a nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray. Add mushrooms and garlic; sauté 3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Add beans, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Cook 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
