Slightly thaw pie shell. Combine eggs and sugar, mixing together slightly. Add karo syrup, vanilla, and melted butter to egg mixture. Fold into pie shell. Gently top with pecans. Preheat oven to 350°. Place pie pan on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 40–45 minutes. Cool and serve.
