Combine apples, sugar, and spices. Place apple mixture in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Mix honey, brown sugar, and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add egg and nuts. Remove the pie from the oven and pour honey mixture over the top. Return the pie to the oven for 10 minutes at 400°, then reduce the heat to 325°. Bake 25–30 minutes until set and apples soft. Serve warm.
