Betty Crocker Kitchens Resource Center One of the more interesting areas in the Betty Crocker Kitchens is the Resource Center, affectionately known as the "cookbook library." It is actually a collection of many different types of resources-2,000 cookbooks; over 100 food reference books, encyclopedias and dictionaries; nearly 500 files of articles and recipes clippings; electronic and CD-ROM cookbooks; and more than sixty food and women's magazines-available to the staff who work in the kitchens. It began about fifty years ago as a small collection of cookbooks, but grew and is now staffed by a professional Information Specialist.
