The Red Spoon
For many years, the Red Spoon has been associated with Betty Crocker and her vast line of products. Maybe you can remember when the packages didn't have this trusted symbol; if so, your memory goes back more than forty years. The spoon was designed for General Mills by Lippincott & Margulies, Inc., and first appeared on packages in 1954. Together with Betty's signature, it remains one of the most recognizable symbols of Betty Crocker today.
