Wash, stack, and roll cabbage leaves so that you can cut into very thin strips
Heat a frying pan and add cooking oil, onion, tomatoes. When the onion is transparent add cabbage, cilantro, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup water.
Let simmer over low heat with a lid.
