Make 1 ½-Pound Recipe with bread machines that use 3 cups flour, or make 2-Pound Recipe with bread machines that use 4 cups flour.
Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
Select Sweet or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use delay cycles Remove baked bread from pan, and cool on wire rack.

Because you will add the chocolate chips with all the other ingredients, they will break up during kneading and will melt during baking, so you will have chocolate bread, not chocolate chip bread.

Mint-chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips will give you a different flavor of chocolate bread. Not in the mood for chocolate? Try the same amount of butterscotch-flavored chips.
