Cook grits in bouillon and salt until thick, about 3–4 minutes. In skillet, cook sausage until well done; drain on paper towels. Add sausage to cooked grits, mixing thoroughly. Add remainder of ingredients, using only half of the cheese, to grits and sausage, again mixing thoroughly. Pour into greased casserole. Sprinkle with remaining grated cheese before cooking. This looks very soupy before cooking; it thickens as it bakes. Bake for 30–45 minutes at 350°.
