Thaw shrimp
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over high heat, bring water, rice mix, wine and 1 tablespoon of the butter to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until no free liquid remaining but mixture is still saucy, stirring occasionally. Cover and keep warm.
Drain shrimp. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Add shrimp and garlic. Cook and stir for 3 minutes or until shrimp is opaque and tender (do not overcook).
Add rice mixture and pepper to shrimp. Gently stir to mix before serving.
Serve with green beans and biscuits or rolls.
* A (4.5 oz.) seasoned herb and butter rice mix can be used if preferred. Both mixes cook in about 10 minutes.
