Rolled Oats Yeast Bread (No Kneading)

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups milk low-fat, (1%), heated
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup molasses
1 tablespoon reduced-calorie margarine or canola oil
1 tablespoon dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
4 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

1. Pour milk over oats. Add molasses. Let set until lukewarm.

2. Add oil, yeast, salt and 2 cups of flour and beat until dough is smooth and elastic--about 5 minutes. I use the electric mixer.

3. Add the rest of the flour, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring with a strong wooden spoon.

4. Allow to rise until double in bulk. Stir down and pour into 2 bread pans coated with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.

5. Let rise until double in bulk. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until done.
