Ingredients

1/2 head cabbage, shredded or chopped
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup half and half, milk, or evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon pepper, fresh ground if possible
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoons sugar
4 teaspoons vinegar
1/8 teaspoon paprika

Directions:

Place cabbage in a large bowl. Mix all other ingredients in a smaller bowl until smooth and creamy. Pour over the cabbage and stir to coat the cabbage thoroughly. Chill, stir, and serve. Additional paprika may be sprinkled on top for color.
