Fill a 5-gallon crab pot 3/4 full with hot water; add Chesapeake-style seafood seasoning and the 4 sliced lemons, and bring to a rolling boil. Add onion, pepper, and potatoes and boil for 20 minutes. Add sausage and boil an additional 20 minutes. Add shrimp and corn and allow to boil for 4 minutes, then turn off heat and leave for an additional 5 minutes in the water. Drain the entire mixture and ladle all items into 1 or 2 very large serving bowls. Serve immediately with butter and cocktail sauce.
Note: Chesapeake seafood seasoning is a regional specialty used in everything from seafood dishes to poultry and vegetables. The two most famous brands are Old Bay Seasoning and Wye River Seasoning.
