Ingredients

8 frozen chicken thighs
1/2 cup honey
1 cup orange juice
2 cups chicken broth *
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 to 2 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1 to 2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 (10-ounce) package frozen broccoli flowerets, thawed (optional)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water

Directions:

Put the frozen chicken in the crockpot right out of the freezer. Whisk together honey, oranage juice, chicken broth, salt, dry mustard, garlic and soy sauce. Pour over the chicken. Cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours. If you desire, you may top with one 10 ounce package of frozen broccoli flowerets about one hour before the chicken is finished. Before serving, remove the chicken and broccoli. Mix cornstarch and cold water then blend well with the cooking brith in crockpot. Cook on HIGH until the broth bubbles and thickens.

*You can use homemade chicken stock, but canned chicken broth works well when you don't have any homemade stock on hand.
