Cream shortening, add sugar and eggs, beat well. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk to creamed mixture. Add chopped prunes. Bake in 2 waxed paper-lined cake pans for 25 minutes at 350°F.
__FROSTING
Cream butter, add prune juice and lemon juice, salt, and cinnamon. Beat in powdered sugar gradually.
