Cheesy Bacon Mashers


Serves: 5

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups instant mashed potatoes
1/3 cup powdered milk
3 tablespoons cheese powder or (1 tablespoon cubed cheddar)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons shelf stable bacon or bacon bits
2 1/4 cups water

Directions:

AT HOME:
1. Pack everything except bacon into a quart freezer or sandwich bag.

2. Pack bacon in separate bag.

AT CAMP:

Freezer Bag Method
1. Add near boiling water to bacon and all other ingredients to bag.

2. Stir well and let cool.

Note: Cheese powder can be found in bulk food sections of grocery stores, online or from pkg of macaroni and cheese.

Fun Fact: Dew appears when the atmosphere is dry.
