Shrimp Sesame Noodles

Ingredients

1 (3-ounce) package shrimp flavor ramen noodle
2 tablespoons dried diced carrots
2 tablespoons dried diced onions
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 pouch shrimp (8 ounces)
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

AT HOME:
1. Pack ramen with 1/4 of seasoning packet, and dry ingredients in a quart freezer bag.

2. Pack oil in small bottle.

3. Place it and the shrimp into the bag.

AT CAMP:
1. Add near boiling water to the bag.

2. Push out air, seal well and mix gently by shaking and rolling bag until ramen starts to soften.

3. Put bag into cozy 10 minutes, tucking shrimp packet underneath and 1/4 C. near boiling water to sauce bag.

4. Drain water, add shrimp and toss with sesame oil.

Note: Can of tiny shrimp or freeze-dried shrimp may be substituted.

Fun Fact: Keep the water in your canteen cooler by wrapping the canteen in foil.
