Brown hamburger and onion in a small amount of oil. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer. Add kidney beans and succotash. Cook 10 minutes. Season to taste. Mash a few of the kidney beans against side of skillet for thickening. Pour into casserole. Mix corn muffin mix according to directions on package, adding extra milk so it is thinner than usual. Spoon on top of hamburger mixture. Bake at 375° until cornbread is done, 25–30 minutes.
