Hamburger Pie

Ingredients

6 - 8 white potatoes
milk (1/2 cup or more)
butter (1/2 stick or more)
salt to paste
1 1/2 pounds hamburger or ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can french-style green bean, drained
1 can tomato soup

Directions:

Peel, cut and boil potatoes. When cooked, drain. Mash, adding milk, butter, and salt to taste. Use electric beater to obtain creamy texture. Sauté hamburger and onion in frying pan using vegetable oil. Drain liquid when sautéed. Combine with drained beans and tomato soup. Place mixture in casserole and cover with mashed potatoes. Bake in 350° oven for 30–35 minutes.
