Combine cream, garlic and thyme in a small saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-low heat. Add cheese and whisk until cheese melts. Reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally. Simmer gently, until it is reduced by half. Sauce will thicken as it reduces. Serve with warm Garlic Cheese Bread.
For Garlic Cheese Bread:
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except bread. Spread over each half of bread. Place bread halves on a baking sheet and broil until golden, about 3 to 5 minutes.
