Combine chicken, lemon juice, celery and grapes or pineapple sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until well chilled. Just before serving, fold cream into mayonnaise, then fold into chicken mixture with the almonds. Serve chicken mixture on a bed of lettuce garnished in one of the following ways.
Garnish:
For a fruity touch: Serve with grapes, grated orange rind, additional pineapple tidbits or a combination.
For a heartier touch: Serve with quartered hard-cooked eggs, tomato wedges and pitted ripe olives.
