2 eggs yolk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon lemon juice fresh
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a small saucepan beat egg yolks, sugar, flour and salt. Stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat.
Add butter or margarine, lemon juice and vanilla; beat for 1 minute with a wire whisk. Place a piece of waxed paper or plastic wrap directly on surface of sauce and refrigerate until well chilled. Serve over Lemon or Lime Snow Pudding or fruit.
