1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons yeast
2 eggs beaten
3 1/2 cups flour
Heat milk. Add shortening, sugar, and salt. Cool to lukewarm and add yeast and eggs. Beat in flour. Cover and let rise till double in bulk. Stir down and spoon into greased muffin tins. Let rise again till double. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 10 minutes. Makes 12 large buns.
