Spread one cup chili in the bottom of a greased 2-quart casserole dish layer half the corn chips, half the onion and one can tamales on top. Sprinkle with half the cheese repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
