In large mixing bowl combine cake mix, pudding, eggs, oil, ginger ale, vanilla, and nuts, if desired. Beat at medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into greased Bundt pan and bake in 350° oven for about 50 minutes or until top springs back when touched with fingertip. Let cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto cake platter. Let cool completely.
Frosting:
In mixing bowl combine pudding mix and milk. Beat until smooth and thick. Fold in whipped topping or whipped cream. Frost cool cake.
