Coffee-Braised Chicken

Ingredients

5 pounds chicken, cubed
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup coffee
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a large stockpot bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes without stirring or uncovering. Shake stockpot once or twice during cooking.
