Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 bananas
baked pastry pie shell
whipped cream

Directions:

Combine sugar, flour and salt slowly add milk and stir. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly remove from heat. Beat eggs slightly add a small amount of hot mixture, then pour back and beat well return to heat and cook 1 minute. Stir in butter and vanilla cool. Slice bananas into baked pastry shell. Pour filling on top and garnish with whipped cream.
