Best Pie Crust


Serves: 8

Ingredients

2 2/3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegetable shortening
6 tablespoons ice water

Directions:

Combine flour and salt cut in shortening until mixture is uniform. Sprinkle with ice water toss lightly with a fork. When all water has been added, work dough into a firm ball divide into two parts. Roll into circle on lightly floured surface. Make top circle 1/2 inch larger than bottom, so top can be folded under bottom crust
