Crust:
Cream butter and sugar. Stir in the other ingredients. Press into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
Almond Layer:
Beat eggs with sugar; slowly add butter, almond paste, and almond extract. Pour over Crust and spread with nuts. Bake at 325° for 25–35 minutes or until a toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool. Cut into bars.
