1. Cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain cover to keep warm.
2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic cook 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until tomatoes are tender and sauce begins to thicken.
3. Serve sauce over pasta. If a smoother sauce is desired, process half of sauce at a time in food processor or blender until smooth.
