Preheat oven to 350°. In a small heavy saucepan, cook 1 cup sugar on medium heat until deep golden brown, stirring constantly. Pour into a greased 9-inch round cake pan. Microwave 4 chocolate squares in a 4-cup glass measure on HIGH 1 1/2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted; cool. Blend milk and cream cheese in blender until smooth. Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, and melted chocolate; cover and blend well. Pour over syrup in cake pan. Place pan in larger baking pan with enough water to come halfway up side of cake pan. Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
To unmold, run a knife around the edge, and invert onto a serving plate. Melt remaining 2 chocolate squares in glass measure on HIGH 1 minute or until melted. Drizzle chocolate with a spoon in 5 or 6 random crisscross designs onto a sheet of wax paper; let stand until firm. Carefully remove chocolate designs and place on top of flan to decorate.
