Form sausage into patties; fry in moderately hot skillet until brown; drain on paper towels. Reserve 1/2 the grease in skillet to make gravy. Brown flour in grease, stirring constantly. Add milk gradually to achieve desired consistency. Crumble 4 cooked sausage patties into gravy. Add salt and pepper. Serve over hot biscuits with remaining sausage patties.
