Yield: Makes 16–20 squares
Melt butter slowly over low heat in a skillet. Add sugar. Let cool. Beat eggs together and add to mixture. Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Put in a greased 8x13-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes. Leave in pan to cool, then cut.
