Melt butter in 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle flour and nuts and spread until smooth with spoon. Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes. Let cool. Cream cheese and sugar. Mix together 1 cup whipped topping and cheese mixture. Spread over crust as first layer. Prepare pudding as directed on box and add flavoring. Spread over first layer. Top with remaining whipped topping.
