Cook grits in water. When done, add butter, garlic cheese, eggs, and milk. Stir until melted. Pour into greased casserole and sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top. Bake 45 minutes (or until center is done) in 350° oven.
Editor's Extra: To make delicious buttered bread crumbs, process 2 slices of bread in food processor, then add a pat of butter and whirl until uniform. For toasted crumbs, spread on cookie sheet and bake 3-4 minutes in 450° oven.
