Butter a tube pan (or a 9x13-inch pan) heavily. Place rolls in pan. Pull each roll apart. Melt butter. Pour over rolls. Combine and sprinkle over rolls, pudding, cinnamon, brown sugar, and nuts.
Let stand, uncovered, on cabinet top overnight. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. When done, remove from oven and let set 10 minutes. Invert on plate.
Variation: May use 1 cup brown sugar, 1 package butterscotch pudding (dry, not instant), 1 stick butter and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
Editor's Extra: One pound brown sugar equals 2 1/4 cups firmly packed. To soften hardened brown sugar, place box of sugar alongside a cup of water in microwave and heat about 2 minutes.
