Brown ground beef; drain off excess grease. Add barbecue sauce, instant onion, and garlic powder; mix well. Flatten each biscuit and press into a muffin tin. Spoon beef mixture into center of each biscuit cup; then top with grated cheese. Bake at 400° for 10–12 minutes.
Editor's Extra: I use a can of big flaky biscuits which I separate in 2 layers, and form into 12 cups; separate the remaining 2 biscuits and bake alongside. Bakes in only 8 minutes.
