1. Place noodles in a colander. Add oil and toss. Spread noodles out.
2. Place colander in a pot containing several inches of boiling water. Cover pot and steam 10 to 15 minutes (see HOW-TO, _Steaming). Let cool. Use in any noodle recIpe.
VARIATIONS:
* For the peanut oil, substitute 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
* For the colander, substitute a flat tray. Place on a rack over boiling water and steam as in step 2.
