Walnut Squares

Ingredients

1/3 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped english walnuts

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Spread into a greased 9"x9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Cut into small squares.
