In a lightly greased 3-quart casserole dish, layer half each of cabbage wedges, crumbs, butter, salt and pepper. Repeat layering, ending with salt and pepper. Pour enough milk over top to just barely cover cabbage. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Tip: There are so many satisfying ways to fix potatoes! Whenever you boil potatoes, toss in a few extras and refrigerate them…you'll have a head start on your next potato dish.
