In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and bacon in margarine. Stir in tomatoes, brown sugar, salt and pepper; heat until bubbling. Roll biscuit quarters into balls and drop into tomato mixture, pushing into liquid to coat. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
