2 tablespoons butter
2 quarts cabbage shredded
1 clove garlic pressed
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
Heat butter (or margarine) in skillet. Add cabbage, garlic, and water; simmer about 5 minutes. Cover tightly and steam 10 to 12 minutes. Mix sour cream, sugar, vinegar, and salt and stir into cabbage. Heat thoroughly. Sprinkle with caraway seeds and serve immediately.
