Remove and chop mushroom stems, setting aside mushroom caps. Combine chopped stems with crabmeat, bread, egg, onion and seasonings; mix well. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps; sprinkle with cheese and set aside. Brush melted butter over a 13"x9" baking pan; arrange mushroom caps in pan. Broil for 2 to 4 minutes, until golden and heated through.
