In a frying pan over medium heat, cook beef, onion and pepper; stir until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in chili beans, barbecue sauce and salt; bring to a boil. Spoon into a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan and set aside. Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions; stir in corn and spoon over meat mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, or until golden.
