Preheat flat top griddle on medium with panini press on the griddle.
Form 2 sandwiches with the bread and chocolate. Butter the outside of the bread as if you were making grilled cheese.
When grill is heated, place on grill and top with panini press, pressing down and cook until the bread is golden and the chocolate has melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
Note: If you are missing a panini press, a grilled chocolate sandwich can be made!
