Peel sweet potatoes (may substitute with yams). Cut into thin slices soak in ice water for 15 minutes drain and pat dry. Spread in single layer on oiled or nonstick baking sheet. Spread oil lightly over slices and sprinkle lightly with salt to taste. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.
