Butter-Braised Cabbage

Ingredients

8 cups cabbage green, finely sliced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients (beef broth may be substituted for chicken broth). Bring to boil, cover. Cook over medium heat for 7 minutes or until just tender, stirring or tossing occasionally.
