Cut tomatoes in half. Squeeze to remove seeds remove core. Chop and drain tomatoes.
In a medium bowl, mix tomatoes, olives, green chilies, green onions, vinegar, oil, salt, and garlic powder. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
To serve, drain well and place in a bowl. Serve with chips.
*"Hot" chilies may be used for a sharper flavor.
