You can buy unsweetened applesauce now, but there's nothing as good as homemade.
1. Peel, core, and cut apples into wedges combine apples and apple juice in a saucepan.
2. Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat 10-15 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally to break up apples.
3. Stir in spices. Add more water, if needed, to achieve desired consistency. Serve warm or chilled.
